I know he is not a bargain sire. It is sires like this I like keeping tabs on. He has done well in the sim but I suspect was downgraded a bit last season and possibly this season. Not for any particular reason other than he was probably too productive in his first two seasons. Well his first crop of real life two year olds are hitting the track and doing well as he is the top freshman sire in the states. I find it a bit surprising he has been a good two year old sire thus far but that is probably the Storm Cat in him. Anyway a nice article on bloodhorse I thought I would link with interesting breeding angles. www.bloodhorse.com/horse-racing/articles/57885/bluegrass-cat-jumps-out-early

He is off to a red hot start. He has a fantastic pedigree and seemed like a horse that could be a good sire. The Winstar backing does not hurt either
