Silent Witness - 5.5f on the turf.
This race has been won by fillies twice. This is another wide open division. Count Zimzam took the Tokyo Sprint, Volkstad took the Everglades, with Dagastan running second in both.

Race history - It is really funny how these races have gone. In four runnings the race has been won by two fillies, and two colts. When the fillies have won, second to fifth has been all colts. When a colt wins second to fifth has been all fillies. That is crazy.
Starinsky won the first running and came back to run 3rd in 2006 and 2nd in 2007.
The stakes record holder is still Starinsky in that first year of 2005. She ran 5.5f in 1:03 1/5 for a 99 speed figure. In fact the second fastest race was last year by the other filly winner Wu Jen.
When fillies have won they have won with 99 and 98 speed figures. When colts when they have done it with 91 and 95 speed figures. Not sure what to make of that.

Thanks, I usually have one or two I claim and run in the weeks prior to the races, cant remember if I have won before though. Under normal conditions I am not sure I would have spent $40,000 for a claim like this, older 32 races but I though he could compete in the BBRS so it makes the claiming price a BPs worth it. I was thinking mile when I claimed Concotelli, it was Battle It Out I claimed with this race in mind. However he came out injured from the race I claimed him from, just turned little groggy this week. So you will see him in this division this next year.
