Cemetery Winter Distaff - 9F on the dirt
We have an explosive three year old in this years dirt classic races. Slave to Tradition stepped up and dominated older runners at the Summer Distaff, the other race for older runners in this division was the Death Valley Distaff won by Rundo.
181291 Slave to Tradition 10 129367 Rundo 10 85325 Cuvee Power 7 145716 Wariuz Legion 6 144674 Rendezvous Rate 4 19110 Amberleigh Flame 4 159639 Scapola 2 111968 Lana's Imp 2 130192 Wonnaby Marooned 1
Three year olds had the Ozark Diamond, Bargain Oaks and Queens
181291 Slave to Tradition 20 165131 Meat Cleaver 16 174758 Nuremburg Trial 14 157467 A Fleet Dane 7 163204 Cinnamon Dwarf F 6
Race History last year the race was extremely close with the top three runners finished within a half length of each other.
So Do I holds the stakes record with her stunning performance in 2007. She won in 1:48 4/5 earning a 101 speed figure. She is the only one to break the 100 speed figure in this race.
Favorites do not do well here although last year Rundo won as the favorite. It is not unusual for long shots to light up the board.

Amberleigh Flame will be entered in the Winter Distaff after a 2nd place finish in the CPU Halloween Mile last week. In 2007 she finished 11th in the Winter Distaff. Even with her 3rd place finish in this years Summer Distaff she wont like 9F but I'm going to give her a shot anyway.

Please nominate to this race:
MEAT CLEAVER
Will need to improve alot, but she deserves a shot, right?

Meat Cleaver deserves a shot. I think you did a smart thing giving her a couple of months off after the Oaks. She will be entering in her 5th start off that layoff, and in each of her 4 starts she seems to be closing ground a little better with each race.

Slave To Tradition made my day with a huge run posting a 102 with a 1:48 3/5ths record setting win breaking the old marks. Cuvee Power made it interesting late and I was glad the race wasn't going any longer.

The older horses where schooled by the three year old. Cuvee Power was the best older mare in this division but she was beaten twice by the three year old sensation Slave to Tradition.
Three year old rankings remain the same, Dirt Filly Route standings are here
181291 - Slave to Tradition - 25 85325 - Cuvee Power - 16 129367 - Rundo - 10 159639 - Scapola - 8
