Week 4092 hosts the Arc de Maleleve, and Tokyo sprint. Nominations due by the end of next week 4084.
FR – Arc de Maleleve – Three year olds and up 10f on the turf
JP – Tokyo Sprint – Three year olds and up 6f on the turf
I upped the purses to $125,000 here which should mean since the purse is over 100k there is no BP penalty for moving the runner from the Americas to the EAAA. I may do the same for the Wombat and Kamikaze in a few weeks as well.
If anyone is using a stable short of sim cash, and has a runner they wish to ship let me know. We can have you dump a horse in the auction and my self or another owner will buy the runner for a good amount to give you some extra cash for shipping.

I'd like to nominate Slave to Tradition for the Arc. She's not trained for this week but if she comes up sharp or I'm feeling frisky I'd like to give her a go.

I have RECON SHOP pointed for the Arc. If he's sharp, i'll race!

Not sharp. Crap. Do I run him or let him rest and bring him back for the Kamikaze mile and the Cougar Bite Classic? Tough call.

Slave to Tradition isn't sharp so I am going to keep her to her normal trained week in hopes of keeping her nice for a run a big run in the Bargain Distaff (or Classic if I am feeling frisky but doubt it)

Now I am not trying to influence you in any way but here are a couple of outside observations of Recon Shop.
At 5yrs old and 28 career races, he is not over raced. In fact this year he only has 6 races and he had a three month break in there. So the fact he did not come sharp probably is not anything to worry about. If anything maybe he needs a race. Plus if the Kamikaze is the goal, a maybe a race 4 weeks out sets him up for that. He did pretty well going from a 9.5f race to a 7f race in his last couple. and then in theory would also have him set up well condition wise for the Bargain Bowl.
As for Slave to Tradition I can see how it would be tempting to take her to the Arc. While I would like to see what she can do on turf you are probably doing the right thing keeping her on her training schedule.

I would just hate it if he ran terrible in the Arc, came back groggy like he tends to do every few races, and had to skip the Kamikaze. Then again, if that happened he could rest and come back fresh for the Kaif Mile. Decisions, decisions.

About the Arc...Neither Ten Lost Pyramids is sharp...considering his bad form in last months..it could be very open race!

Mine haven't arrived yet, Morgan.
Triumphal March should be having a go at the sprint. My notes say that I had Mythical Flight going for the Arc, but I seem to have trained him for next week and he'd be a no-hoper anyway, so don't worry about him.

ok I sent you a password for Mythical Flight then realized I mixed up Mythical Flight with Triumphal March as to which one was going to run so there is a second email for Triumphal March. Been one of those days for transposing things.
