For two years now we have sponsored three G2 races. Its part of Bargie day, we have a dirt route for three year old colts, a turf route for three year old colts and a dirt mile for older fillies and mares.
The G2 Hustlin Hoosier at 9f on the dirt for three years has an impressive couple of runners to come out of the race. I wont Look Back won in 2014 and he went on to win the All Saints, New Yorker, Jocky Guild Gold Cup, Breeders Bowl Classic, Glenn Handicap and the Sand Castle Classic.
Also out of that race was Speight Knight who won the G1 Old Name, was 5th in the Breeders Bowl Sprint, won the G1 Sterile Mile and I think he has a shot at this years Breeder' Bowl Dirt Mile.
In 2015 this race produced 2015 Derby winner Swinging Big Shaft.
The G2 Ten Lost Pyramids run at 9.5f on the turf for three year olds has produced a couple of G1 winners as well. In 2014 On the Ridge took the G1 Japanese Guineas. This year Ketaring Point ran in the race although did not finish well. He has gone on to win the G1 Jockey Club, the G1 French Grand Prix and today added the G1 Arc de ComicDog.
Thats pretty good for a couple of G2 races in just two years. Whats even more interesting is I Wont Look Back is the only runner not trained by a BBRS trainer. So get your well bred two year olds geared up for Bargie Day graded action in 2016.
