Last year 4 weeks after the Bargain Bowl we had a set of races that were all claiming races. The four races for un raced runners all produced solid runners. In fact nearly all the horses that ran in the unraced 3yr old maiden claimers won a race, two likely will be running in the Bargain Bowl. Sea Levels HighRoan SparkesFrom the two year old unraced maiden claimer I think only one solid runner was produced. Rock TurtleThe other two year old maiden claimers produced nothing. They were awful, but at least 4 of them got wins they probably would not have gotten otherwise. I liked the BBRS Offspring maiden claimer but I did have like 5 horses in that race. The claimers for older runners I'm not sure were all that successful in rekindling good form in any of the runners. Feel free to look at the races. They were run on December 27, 2014 at NZ. If we have people interested I was thinking about more un raced maiden claimers, fewer maiden claimers for runners that have already raced. For older runners maybe expand the unraced maiden claimers but for the claimers for winners maybe only have filly races so newer players can potentially get a dam that has already run in the series so they can breed Offspring runners in the next year. Just some thoughts. I want to have some races December 26,2014 and I liked the claimers even though I do not think many runners changed hands. I should add I have another that ran in the unraced 3yr old maiden claimers that has been useful. Earned 184 BPs is 10 races Winter Stone

I'm in!
I am actually surprised, how relatively big impact this first event has. Horses, bred for this event usually cost very low prices, but now look very promising. I really didn't expect Sea Levels High still unbeaten 9 months after the event (well, I assume it is going to end next week, but it is still amazing).
So, I would be happy to participate again.

I was looking at the entries for the BB races so far and saw Rock Turtle in the Silent Witness. It was only after looking at his form that I realised that it's one that I bred for the exchange race. Cost a whopping 30 points to breed. Nice claim, Plano.

So, be careful in this year's exchange event .
