Ok I have put together all the race results. Keep in mind this is STAKES races only. It does not include any maiden or allowance races run in the series. I still am putting together some stuff but the question was asked about most wins, and stuff. Here is some of that.
Wins
Delta Tiger - 5 wins
Ten Lost Pyramids - 4 wins - has a chance to tie this year maybe take the lead if he gets hot maybe at the Arc and Bargain Bowl
In The Money Finishes
Clearance Clarence - 8 - 4 places and 4 shows
Shadow Muffy - 8 - 3 wins , 1 place and 4 shows
Shoaib Akhtar - 7 - 3 wins, 3 places and 1 show.
There have not been a lot of turf to dirt winners. Some runners have shown versatility like winning at a mile and then stretching out to 10f and winning. Shadowy Muff beat the boys at 6.5f and her other two wins where against fillies over a mile all on the dirt.
Shoaib Akhtar has done well near a mile beating the boys along the way.
I am still looking through all the runner but to my knowledge there is only one runner that has won a dirt race and a turf race. Wu Jen has three wins in the BBRS all sprints. One against the Boys in the 07 Bargain Dash, the 08 Sugar and Spice and then on turf in the 08 Silent Witness at the Bargain Bowl against the boys.
I suspect Wins and ITM finishes will change more in the next year or so. There are just a lot more races available for runners now. So it makes the 5 wins by Chance for Delta look more impressive considering she had a lot fewer opportunities in the first three years of the series.
Stakes races by year -
2005 - 13
2006 - 19
2007 - 27
2008 - 34
2009 - 34* planned.
