There was an interesting aritcle on bloodhorse.com about German sire lines. Now I think this is pretty interesting especially with the older dam sires thread which has a couple of German sires listed. In the sim there are a whole bunch of German sires that end the week between 50-65 points. I like them as dam sires with my bargain runners but may try a few as sires this year. I have used Czaravich quite a bit, have a two year old winner using Greinton, Lomitas is interesting Northjet is interesting. Here is the article.... www.bloodhorse.com/horse-racing/articles/51293/emergent-german-thoroughbred-bloodlines

Silvano (Ger), a son of Lomitas, has got off to a decent enough start as a sire in South Africa. He stood a season in Germany in 2002 before relocating here.
In Germany he produced Mi Emma, the German 1000 Guineas (Gr2) winner and won the title of Champion Freshman Sire in 2005. In South Africa, his best runners to date have been King's Gambit (SA Derby Gr1, SA Classic Gr1 ie. 2 legs of the triple crown) and Happy Spirit (SA Oaks, Gr2).
With the current season a month from the end, he's sitting 14th on the sires log and his two year olds have won 13% of their starts (16% last season, 21% the year before).
