The plane has just touched down from New Zealand in Eastern Kentucky with the HAWKZ runners for the Bowl. It was a long trip but all traveled well and will have their first hit out tuesday ready to storm the stakes races. REWA DREAMIN(KY) after a long layoff looked great
PLAYERS CHAMPION(TX) and ROARING HAWKZ(TX) also had good coats and strode of the plane with an air of arrogance,
the 2yrolds CATCH THE BEEL(NZ) turf and PHARWAYZ look to have grown since last outing

Can't say I'm really optimistic before the bowl. Ten Lost Pyramids is RTG, which is not good, but still better than the off-track in Paris. We will see... The others are going mainly to participate and may be surprise. I'm looking forward to see Vatican Army in Vimes Turf Distaff. I hope she is continuing her progress.
Good luck to all in this big bargain event!

Recon Shop - slowing down, probably past his peak. Will need a miracle.
Almost Scary - Same as Recon Shop Nice Keychain - Not in bad form, still a step behind the big dogs.
Mileish - needs to improve some more to be there - not sharp Meat Cleaver - not sharp either, but DEAD MEAT isn't dead yet!
Good luck all!

Turn out it was an Omen congrats on the big win. Also congrats to all the other winners lots of the names I was expecting to see overall.
Had a real good Bargain Bowl with a dominating repeat win by Slave to Tradition and a narrow huge score by Brilliant Notation (wow what a blanket race that was).. Also had two strong 2nds in the Juvy Dirt (wow that was a fast race) and in the Classic (game effort by Textbook Case who is quite a colt).

This wasn't bad BB for me...although..I'm slightly sad. This was probably the last chance for my old guy to get third win. Would be easier for me to see him further behind the winner. Anyway, Brilliant Notation is the good name on top and he really deserves it for this year's results. Congratulations mtk! Some others did a good job as well. Vatican Army looked very promising in Vimes Turf and finished 2nd, Malakowsky finally indicated some potential seen in the spring and grabbed 2nd place as well, always underestimated Scapola after a pure work two weeks ago repeated 3rd spot in Cemetary Winter Distaff, Psytexx was surprisingly 4th in the sprint. But I'm still looking for a new big star... Congratulations to those, who got their victories in this famous day.

Thanks! Likewise, congrats to all the winners. I got the two I hoped for (Eagle View and Gypsy's Warning), albeit both by whiskers only! None of my others did much, but didn't really expext anything from them.

Wow, i think someone snuck in my barn and tranquilized my horses. They ALL ran like doo-doo. Then again, the only real surprise was Meat Cleaver. Ok mtk, you can say it now - DEAD MEAT! LOL Those local bred claiming races are looking mighty attractive to me right now. You guys have some really nice bargain breds! Congrats! See you next year!

Yours finished 2nd in the division Axe so she should run on and do well again in 2011 no shame in that at all.
I was kind of rooting for yours Plano in the Turf was so close that really was anyone's race but I am glad Brilliant Notation finally squeaked out another win hes been a real hard luck horse but take solace knowing yours is a Hall of Famer and still is technically lightly enough raced to be good again next year I think.
