I can't keep him a secret any longer. He's by one of our favorite sires of the week Slew City Slew out of a Fappiano mare. 5x5 Ambiorix. This is from his advertisement on Bloodhorse's stallion register: #1 OKLAHOMA SIRE by 2008 SWS OVER $1.7 MILLION & 104 WINS IMPROVES MARES BY 32% (AEI VS CI) 10% STAKES WINNERS FROM STARTERS And get this: He's only been used 8 times in the last 5 years in the sim. One of them is mine: derbyfever.com/hr/runtime/prettyhorse.asp?hossnum=130246 Talk about an overlooked sire! His real life runners are mostly out of some fairly obscure stuff. Thus the "Improves mares by 32%" i suppose. Thats a good thing for us bargain breeders! Having studied quite a bit since i used him last, i would try something different, although that one worked out fine. 5x5 Ambiorix leads me to want to play off of that. Turn-To and My Babu would have to be in there somewhere. Lots of stuff to work with if you go that direction. What do you all think? Diamond in the rough?

I really like how you bred the EVANSVILLE SLEW. MEADOWLAKE was an excellent choice I think for the dam sire. I would like to see a runner with raise a native/speak john backend at ds and dds. Ofcourse Meadowlake has that combo all in one. I bred this JAZIL that hawkz now has (though not a bargain) derbyfever.com/hr/runtime/prettyhorse.asp?hossnum=189328. I might try something like that but with bargain sires with him sometime. Any suggestions on how I could do that bargainwise good? Well besides just using MEADOWLAKE? Like I was saying doing so with the combo being for DS and DDS. I suppose it would be better to go with Mr. P inbreeding over SPEAK JOHN line though.

www.racingwhisper.com/simfair/siresearch.aspPop SPEAK JOHN into that bad boy. Try all three positions. Sires sire, ds, grandsire. If you see something you like from those results, grab it and plop it in here - www.pedigreequery.com- and check out how they did in real life, progeny, etc... RAISE A NATIVE will be a bit tougher. You're gonna get zillions of results, but if you plow through them and find what you're looking for - price, pedigree, race record, etc - you'll find some pretty good deals. Sounds like you know what you're looking for, so that's about the best advice i can give for how you can find your bargain horse. Happy seeking! That JAZIL is nice!

Lebowski, that one i just hypomated for you to see if it's what you were talking about. Didn't breed it. Just kicking around some ideas. All yours if you want it! Should be a 25 pointer at the end of the week.
