Teejay. Let me walk you through my process a bit here. I have the ticker for week 4232 which is week before her debut. Now you may have bred her before that in January but that week gives me a general idea of sire prices.
You and I was 33 pts, Green Tune was 54 points and Song of Tara was 33 points (16). So that puts her cost at 104, so maybe you donated a horse to the pool to get her under 100? I also checked current prices and they too where in the 104-106 range.
Just to clarify the rules, to be eligible for the series the breeding has to cost less than 100 points before any discounts.
Teejay I am going to say no to running this week. I want to be fair so I will go back through and look at older tickers from 09 and 08 to see what this breeding would have cost historically. I will double check my first of the year ticker prices, maybe I missed something. So maybe she could be eligible for future races.

Good lesson here I think (I learned this once the hard way too) always do one of the following:
1. Save the breeding page to a .txt file with the horse name so it could always be sent if needed 2. Post it in the breeding thread
One of these can save any questions later.

Hawkz girl got her revenge over my Gypsy's Warning for the two nose defeats in previous Bargain races. I was pleasantly surprised with National Risk's run, so two seconds this week for me. Can't complain.

Good lesson here I think (I learned this once the hard way too) always do one of the following: 2. Post it in the breeding thread . Just an FYI. I like that thread because it is neat to see what others are doing, however I do not and will not go through that thread looking for your breeding. That thread does not qualify a horse for the Bargain Series. If you officially want your newly bred runners, whether they are two or three, to be nominated to the series they should be emailed or private messaged to me. I think it is a great idea to keep breeding pages for any runner you have hopes for in the bargain series. You do not have to send those to me as you breed them, but if they prove to be good you will have the page to send me when you want to nominate them.

Can we say that the thread is a good place to store the tickers in case the horse turns out to be worthy?

Sure Axe, it is a solid place to post that info, just keep in mind I do not want to sift through the 10 pages to find a breeding. Ultimately these type things could be altered so I check things a couple of ways. If you do use it that way I would prefer the copy to look more like this... Cool man, i understand. I don't mind sifting for my own horse, but i imagine it would be a job to do every horse nominated! Looks like we were both DEAD MEAT this week, mtk! Congrat to the winners! Indeed we were pal. Mine clearly prefers a 8-9f I just like running her in nearly all bargain events since she usually finishes ITM even though its not her favorite.
