Its been a while and I am sort of in the breeding sim horses mood ;D
I like the looks of Graeme Hall as a bargain sire. I really like the fact in real life he has produced two graded stakes winners in each of the last two years and has produced six graded stakes winners from five crops of racing age. Its not like he has big 100 foal crops. On the high end he has had a 70 foal crop and on the low end a 31 foal crop so I think he is getting solid production from smaller crops.
Another thing I like about him is that he was a solid runner at two, three and four. He ran second in a G2 as a two year old, won the then G2 Arkansas Derby and G2 Jim Dandy as a three year old. Then won G2 Eclipse at four also was second in the G1 Cigar mile at four. A lot to like about the way he ran and how his real life crops are doing.
In the sim of course it is a different story. One stakes winner in last 5 crops but his average sim crop is about 8 foals so hard to do well stat wise when getting used 8 times a year.
Another plus is he is stands in Florida so with two tracks there state bred options might be a little better. I do find it interesting that in real life and in his better sim runners obscure dam sires have produced his top runners.
I may breed to him this week he gets down into the 40 point range at the end of the week.
What do you guys think?

Nice horse. His best 3 or 4 horses (that i can see in pedigree query) have some interesting crosses in their pedigrees. Not sure what i'd do, but he definitely looks worth messing with.
I'm looking into some bargain options now. Might have to snag one in the next couple weeks!

Funny I bred Graeme Hall last week I definately agree he is an intriguing bargain value. Mine didnt debut so hot but I still like his potential for using him.

I had a real good one from him several years ago. Kind of forgot about him to be honest! Your post will inspire me to use him again soon - thanks!

Nice! That one might be alright!
My 2 will have to "mature with age", hopefully.
