looks like we will have 15 or 16 maidens maybe a few more so I bought two MSW races at 8.5F on the dirt. I will split the entries I have up evenly between the races so we get about an even amount of runners in each race. There are only 4 Fillies among the maidens so that did not warrant a separate race just for fillies so they will have to face the boys.
These races will be run in Tennessee, with these I will be a little flexible with the deadline as long as I can easily verify bargain status. Thanks.

passwords have been sent. I am splitting the MSW races to colts and fillies. I bought both as open but looks like there will be enough fillies to just have fillies in one race.

Ozark races should really be interesting I'd imagine the fields are going to be large which is cool.

Morgan, I've sent through an e-mail but just in case you don't see it in time:
Could you e-mail me the password for the maiden fillies race so that I can enter Gold Is Golden? I think you missed my request to have her entered in my earlier edited post.

Had to get them covered they are the prep races for the big stuff. Its amazing how the fillies are way ahead of the boys again. I think Tin Buck Slew or your filly would be favored in the colt race easily..

Thanks for covering them, mtk! And also congratulations to Textbook Case's victory...seems you have breeding pattern for the champions Rewa Dreamin was also amazing. Congratulation, Hawkz...seems that spring bargain female races will be "one mare show" My plans were filled for 50%. Win in maiden was Song of the Deaf's duty...the Ozark was slightly disappointing. Mainly, I expected Black Ash higher... I have to reconsider derby plans little bit...but anyway..another great day of bargain racing.

Did an ok job handicapping the race picked the winners of both races dead on but flubbed the other spots a tab. Rewa Dreamin looks really awesome it took getting away from her for Textbook Case to pull through for his 1st bargain series win. Rewa already has a ton of career earnings very impressive. On to the Derby now.. I am going to enter a few to hope to capture the Derby will be sending Textbook Case and Key Party who is thriving on long turf but has not yet tried dirt (hoping for the Shoeless Greek type magic)..

When Tin Buck Slew was stalking the early pace I knew I was in trouble. That freaking jockey got a ear full. She has always run start speeds in the .35-.40 area she has a .67 this week. What kills me is this is same jock that was on her in her previous race. She was not sharp this week so she may head on to the Oaks anyway. She was not horribly beaten and maybe enough did not go her way where she has an excuse.
Congrats to the winners.

I agree I'd definately give her another shot in the Oaks could take a race to adjust to the dirt maybe plus she wasn't ridden optimally and did finish respectable. EIther way Im sure she is going to be really tough in the Guineas.

While they will not overwhelm you with monster speed figures, I think I might be loaded for the Guineas. Mimbo Hill may try the derby Tianeer has put together a couple of nice runs. and of course Tin Buck Slew
