mtk: Next year? No, I don't believe. He is slowing down. He would need a real form..to win at 7. I don't say..it is not possible, but with growing age..more and more luck is necessary. But it doesn't change..he is total hero for me and I feel no shame to lose with Recon Shop and performance he made today. Dreams just sometimes don't come through...

Ten Lost Pyramids is one of the all time greats in BBRS lore, he ran well today. It is just impressive he was really competitive all year long as a 6 yr old. A big 113 speed figure in January a listed stakes win, added the Bargain Arc, and gave a good account of himself today.
With only 34 races he could very well still have some run left. Not sure what I would do with him if he where mine. Wu Jen ran her 51st race this week as a 6yr year old. She was pretty much in her best form around starts 40-45. Good luck with him no matter what path you may choose.

It is very individual, I had horses with best starts around 10..another with 40 as well. My plan for Ten Lost Pyramids already exists. I don't expect more than 4 or 5 starts next year...I will try to save every power left.
