Everyone,
Another great year is in the books congrats to all the 2017 winners! Thanks to everyone who participates!
In the past couple of seasons we have run December and January races. As of right now I am not planning to do that this Winter. I could change my mind and card some races January 6. If I do they will be three year old only races a mix of maidens and allowances. No older races till Bargie day so give the vets a little break.
I am planning for February 3rd to be pre Bargie Day races (3yr olds only), Bargie Day will be March 3, March 31 will kick off the stakes season. I hope to work out the details of the 2018 Season very soon and get that info posted. This is the time I consider adding races, removing races, changing race dates etc. If you have any comments or feedback let me know.
Offspring racing will be on my mind a bit. I do not anticipate any changes to the races in 2018 but I will review them. Any comments on these are welcome.
This past year + a few months have been absolutely crazy from a work stand point. I have worked between 60-80 hrs a week during this span not to mention being on call 24/7. It did not leave a ton of free time for the series. I am hoping this calms down in the next few months so I can get more videos up for the series and attract a few more players.

Thanks Morgan, it was magnificent season again and I am happy to be part of it. Actually, it makes at least half of the fun in the sim for me. Personally, this was probably my best bargain season. Still, I have some goals not saying them loudly as I am afraid I wouldn't reach them after it. It is hard to find some weak points. Somehow, I think it is a bit unfair to look for some as I expect the time and mostly the expenses from your part have to be huge. But sometimes I regret there is no 12F+ race only for fillies. Neither turf or dirt. I think it is the same with fillies for turf sprint. On the other hand, I understand it would be out of the bargie categories and I don't miss them so desperately. I am sorry to hear about your busy days and wish you to get it done soon. I also have funny time these days after my return to working life. I couldn't even find the time for my regular Cougar Bite Classic preview. Hopefully next year will be better . Thanks again, you make the sim even better!

Thanks Morgan. You deserve a break too. I've wound down my time on the sim to such an extent that the Bargain Series makes up probably 90% of my races. It's the best part of the sim.

I have a lot of retirements coming across the GlennC stables. I need to start over with new bargain-breds especially. I just get too attached and want one more race, one more chance to win out of even the most pedestrian.

The 2018 Schedule is posted, I am adding a lot more 2yr old maiden races. Not sure if I am over extending or if we can fill them but it means we will have 40 maiden winners by the end of May and 64 winners by mid August. Also I have thrown in allowances for older runners sporadically through the year.
I added more offspring 2yr old maidens and those get into full gear September, October and November.
Bargain Bowl will be in Japan this year.
