So, it is over. I have three bargain bowl wins. It is a good result considering last year high expectations with one win only. Need to stay modest. 4yos World of Drownings and Clock To Stop have confirmed their odds. Cloud Country was a clear favorite too. Thanks to Morgan, who entered his filly to girl's race, Cloud Country could celebrate. But they all were high favorites, so no big surprises. It seems to be obvious that Mike did some changes in competitiveness of 3yos. After dominating in previous years it was only one 3yo winner this year. If I'm not wrong it is Dragnil's Fortaldor in Vimes Turf Distaff. And let me bow to Dragnil one more time. Stratum Kahal won his 3rd Class Ack Juvenile. I assume this is for second time in history - winning bargain bowl race three times. Big congratulations! Btw. Stratum Kahal now has 9 bargain stakes wins. One more race to settle score with Slave to Tradition. I'm curious how many powers left. Death Valley Oasis is soon in the season so it is not impossible. Wish you good luck! What about others' thoughts of bargain bowl?

Thanks Plano! Very pleased with Stratum Kahal's treble in the Silent Witness. Well done to you as well for a good season. My runners won 4 of the stakes races (Stratum Kahal, Boisranger, Fortaldor, Idealorio) and will collect 4 Bargie Awards (National Stock, Stratum Kahal, Boisranger, Fortaldor), if I got my sums right. I nearly ruined National Stock's Bargie with my own horse, Rose Mistress, pushing her into 3rd place by a nose. I think she finishes top by 1 point. Pins' Jet and Double The Ideal both finish as runner up in their categories to their stablemates. Idealorio gets a podium spot in third in his category.

Congrats to all the winners this year!
I didn't have any big expectations this year since I only had entries in a few races, and as expected, no wins developed. One runner, R.K.'s Rodeo Horse, finished 3rd in the Class Ack Juvenile and was shooting for a Bargie Award but fell short when LBC's Need Another Round bested him again. Congrats to LB for your Bargain Champ and next years races as 3 yr. old's should be fun to watch.
The only real excitement I had was with my 2 yr. old Offspring Bred filly, Speedway Overdrive, who won the 8f Offspring Juvenile Dirt race against other offspring boys and girls. She is 4 for 4 now with earnings over 100K and 3 of the wins came in Bargain Events. I don't believe I have ever had a runner win it's first 4 races since playing this game.

I had two bargain bowl winners and 4 maiden winners. I think it has been a while since I had as many two year old bargain winners as I do this year. I will be aiming Nayjavu for the G2 Slave to Tradition in March.

Thanks Viento! That's my biggest accomplishment in the sim to date! I didn't think NEED ANOTHER ROUND was going to be very good and he always get so far back and then charged to the lead. I've never had a horse like him.
I also had my Juvenile Filly NAPLES run 2nd which I believe will be enough for a Bargie award. I had 2 other horses running but they've been out of sorts this year and I would have run them as 4yos if they had shown anything.
But I'm super stoked for my first Bargain Bowl win and 2 Bargie awards!

I don't know if we've picked this up before, but I just realised that Stratum Kahal broke that 100 speed figure record when winning the Silent Witness in 2016. No luck yet matching Slave To Tradition's 10 series stakes wins but he put in a good showing in an allowance today, so maybe he's still got another one in him.
